"who cut down the cherry tree, the cherry tree, the cherry tree..george washington!!" morgan is singing and coloring away like these pictures are the most important task of her life. "its like somebody likes george washington" she says. this leads to us looking up his wife. morgan decides immediately that she isn't very pretty. i try not to laugh but to no avail, her immediate disgust is hilarious.
i love these kids, i really do. but i'm not ready. i would really like to have children, sometimes right now in the fiction world. but ultimately i like having my freedom right now and love having this time with my husband. i think it is ideal to establish a relationship and have children later when that foundation is all built up- not necessarily needed but if you can afford to wait, do it.
i've been getting asked/harassed about having babies lately. like i need any encouragement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sheesh. my body is already quite aware that it would love to pop some babies out and raise cute little jjs. i sure hope they have his cheeks. and hair. blond curls preferred. (its like i'm making an order here).
our upstairs landlords are pregnant. jack, their 4 year old son, when told of the pregnancy goes, "i'll take two brothers and if its a girl, i'm flushing her down the toilet!"
haha.
rude.
note: do not introduce children to activities that you do not like because they will hound you about it. forever. don't say funny things that you don't want to then repeat about 50 times a day for the next year. if its funny, you'll be forced to say it again and again and again. at first i was flattered they thought i was so hilarious, now i know better.
but- i am really funny.
today's shout out:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAYYYYYYLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i miss you and love you so. wish i could fly down there right now and sit in the sunshine with you. that would be the best.
favorite food of the day: blackberries.
these photos are taken from meglett. she came up last weekend and we all had the best reunion of sorts. friendship- get on it.
